Just imagine where you will go! Begin your underwater explorations by enrolling in NAUI’s Basic Open Water class (Scuba Diver Certification). This is our entry-level certification course where you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely dive in open water.

During your NAUI Basic Open Water Class, you will learn about modern dive equipment, diving sciences, responsible diving practices, and the environment.  Diving skills will be taught and practiced first in a confined water environment and finally during your open water training with your NAUI Instructor.

What's Required?!

• Be at least 10 years of age, students under the age of 12 must be interviewed by the Dive Instructor to be accepted into the class.
• Be in good physical condition. (Medical Questionnaire)
• Be a proficient swimmer
• You will need to own your personal gear consisting of a mask, fins, snorkel, boots, surface marker buoy, finger reel, and gloves. We have a colorful selection of equipment with great prices and student package discounts. You can expect to pay $300-$500 for the gear you keep.

What's included?!

• All remaining Scuba Equipment needed for Open Water Dives: Regulator Set with Dive Computer Console and attached Compass, 7mm Neoprene Exposure Suit, Hood, Buoyancy Compensator Device, Tanks (for Pool and Open Water sessions), and Weights.
• Instructional time with NAUI Dive Instructor
• Pool access on Pool session days.
• NAUI eLearning (Must be purchased, picked up, and completed prior to the beginning of class. The eLearning will be automatically applied at checkout when purchasing class online).
